What Parents Say About Us
Lisa has gone above and beyond her job as a provider for my child. Upon the first day meeting her she greeted me and my family with a warm welcome and I instantly felt comfortable with her being in my home. I appreciate her patience, commitment, communication, and hard work that she has shown as we’ve worked together. I highly recommend her expertise because I’ve seen my child develop because of her teaching. She not only supports my child but shares ways I can continue to support my son at home which is really important to me as a parent.
Shadaisha D. Staten Island, NYWhere do I begin! Lisa has become more like family to me! She came to us as a tutor for my son and the rest is history. She was patient with him, kind, and accommodating towards my child. I was really impressed with her because she was dedicated to my son’s education and willing to try everything it took to see him succeed. We need more educators like Lisa who’s willing to do the most for our children.
Vanessa B. Brooklyn, NYLaurie worked with my daughter who has been diagnosed with a mild case of ADHD in all areas, including Math and Reading. Her progression has been noted in varying degrees, specifically through the results of her first and last milestone test at school during the academic year. This success is not only due to Laurie's patience but a clear understanding of identifying my daughter's needs and adjusting to her learning skills. Laurie also was willing to collaborate with my daughter's other academic educators to develop the best course of teaching. I hold Lauire in high regard and hope to continue working with her in the foreseeable future.
Tajuana N. Manhattan, NY
Laurie is a skilled, patient, straight forward, consistent, and talented teacher. Laurie incorporated short breaks and motivational activities to sustain my autistic son’s attention. He hated reading before working with Laurie. He is now more motivated and curious about language, vocabulary, and narrative. Laurie is excellent at meeting children where they are and growing their tolerance level for activities they find challenging. I recommend her wholeheartedly!
